Why we ask for your details

This year, participants will again be allowed to look for vulnerabilities on sensitive government websites. To make that legal, every participant must be individually approved by the Belgian police before the event.

That screening needs your full legal name, your Belgian identity card number and your national register number. Without an approved screening you cannot access the sensitive scope, so please fill in the details exactly as they appear on your ID card.

We also use these details to create your personal test accounts on the in-scope government platforms, so you can log in and test authenticated parts of the applications during the event.

Only Belgian residents holding a Belgian eID can join the sensitive scope this year.

Your data is used only for the police screening, for creating your test accounts and for organising HTG 26. It is processed by the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) and deleted after the event, in line with GDPR. Questions: [email protected].
